Safety and Insurance Policies for Whiz 'n Wag Dog Training:

  1. Safety Measures: a. All training sessions will be conducted in a safe and controlled environment, adhering to best practices for dog training. b. Aggressive or unpredictable dogs may be required to undergo an evaluation or private training before participating in group sessions. c. Dogs must be on a leash and under the owner's or trainers control while on a session. d. In the event of any injury or medical emergency, trained staff will provide immediate assistance and, if necessary, seek veterinary care.

  2. Incident Disclosure Policy: Any incidents involving dogs outside of scheduled training sessions must be fully disclosed to Whiz 'n Wag Dog Training for legal purposes and to ensure the safety of all participants. Clients are required to inform trainers of any incidents, including but not limited to bites, aggression towards humans or other animals, incidences towards the dog or injuries sustained by the dog, regardless of severity. Full disclosure of incidents allows trainers to conduct updated risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures during training sessions to mitigate potential risks and ensure the well-being of all involved parties.

  3. Vaccination and Health Requirements: a. All dogs participating in our training programs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus. b. We recommend that dogs be free from contagious diseases, and clients should inform us of any health conditions before attending sessions.

  4. Insurance Coverage: a. Whiz 'n Wag Positive Dog Training maintains comprehensive liability insurance to protect our clients and their dogs during training sessions. b. Clients are responsible for any medical expenses incurred due to injuries caused by their dogs during training. c. Clients are encouraged to have their dogs covered by their pet insurance policies.

  5. Assumption of Risk: a. Participation in our dog training programs involves inherent risks, including the potential for injury or accidents. b. Clients acknowledge and assume all risks associated with their dog's participation in training sessions.

  6. Client Conduct: a. Clients must follow all instructions provided by our trainers and staff during training sessions to ensure safety and effective learning. b. Any aggressive behavior or mistreatment of dogs or staff will not be tolerated and may result in termination of training services without refund.

  7. Photography and Media: a. We may take photographs or videos during training sessions for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us in advance.

  8. Release of Liability: a. By participating in our dog training programs, clients agree to release Whiz 'n Wag Positive Dog Training, its trainers, and staff from any liability for injuries, damages, or incidents that may occur during or as a result of training. c. Trainers will take all precautions for the safety of dogs and owners and reserve the right to cancel or reschedule if external factors or the dog is deemed unsafe.

  9. External Facilities and Venues: a. For off-site training sessions, we will ensure that external facilities and venues meet safety standards and have appropriate insurance coverage.

  10. Policy Updates: a. We reserve the right to update and modify these safety and insurance policies as needed. Any changes will be communicated to clients through our website or other appropriate channels.

Cancellation Policy for Whiz 'n Wag Positive Dog Training

Thank you for choosing Whiz 'n Wag Positive Dog Training for your dog training needs. We are committed to providing you and your furry companion with the best training experience possible. To ensure the efficient management of our training sessions and to accommodate other clients, we have implemented this cancellation policy.

  1. Cancellation Period

Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel or reschedule your dog training sessions up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  1. Cancellation Procedures

To cancel or reschedule a training session, please notify us by one of the following methods:

  • Use our online cancellation form available on our website

Please provide us with your name, the name of your dog, the date and time of the scheduled session, and the reason for cancellation or rescheduling.

  1. Refund Policy

If you cancel or reschedule a training session at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, we will provide a full refund for any prepaid fees or a credit toward future sessions, whichever you prefer.

If you cancel or reschedule a session within the 48-hour period leading up to the appointment, a cancellation fee of [insert fee amount] will apply, and the remaining amount will be refunded or credited towards future sessions.

  1. No-Show Policy

If you fail to show up for a scheduled training session without prior notice, you will be considered a "no-show." No-shows are subject to the full session fee, and no refund or credit will be issued.

  1. Trainer Illness or Emergency

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as trainer illness or an emergency, we will make every effort to reschedule your session at the earliest possible time. If rescheduling is not feasible, we will provide a full refund for the affected session.

  1. Package Expiry and Extensions

If you have purchased a training package, please note that the sessions within the package must be used within 1 month from the date of purchase. We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise, and if you require an extension, please contact us to discuss your situation.

  1. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, such as a verifiable emergency or force majeure event, we may waive the cancellation fee or provide a refund or credit at our discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible in such cases.

  1. Updates and Revisions

We reserve the right to update or revise this cancellation policy as needed. Any changes will be communicated to clients through our website or other appropriate channels.
